It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edward Bernard Krekeler Jr. of Trenton, Georgia, born in Rolla, Missouri, who passed away on March 5, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward, Sr. and Marie; his brother Paul; and his daughter Mariah Christine. He is survived by: his wife Lori Krekeler; his children, Eddie Krekeler (Meg), Dan Krekeler, Nick Krekeler, Sarah Franklin (Anthony), Hannah Hallowell and Chance Krekeler; his grandchildren, Charlotte, Nate, Oliver, Eloise, Khalil (Chance), Adele, Emory, Ariel, Aaliyah, Tinsleigh, Maddix, Nora and Waylen Edward; and his siblings, Peter Krekeler, John Krekeler (MaryLou), Karen Weber (Larry) and Kris Bartel (Tony). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory (3239 Battlefield Pkwy, Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742). A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
