He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Bain and Lula Sharp Bain; his wife Della Bain; his son Rev. Bob Bain; his siblings, Naomia Potts, Annie Pearl Bain, J. R., Dewey, Emmett and Roy Bain; and his son-in-law Edward Baty.
He is survived by: his children, Veronica Baty, Dale Bain (Dee) and Ricky Bain (Miriam); his grandchildren, Starla Graves (Joe), Patricia Harbin (Phillip), Monica Myers, Robin Shrader, Carla Dawson, Jackie Bain, Ryan Bain (Rebekah) and Erica Godier (Joe); and his sister Ruby Stalvey. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and 6 great great-grandchildren.
