He is survived by: his wife Becky Avery of Trenton; his children, Amy Thompson (Jason) of LaFayette, GA and Shane Avery (Stacy) of Trenton, GA; his sister Joan Tucker (Tom) of Rising Fawn, GA; and his grandchildren, Devin Avery, A. J. Thompson and Ashlynn Avery.
