He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lawson and Mary Bell Lawson. He is survived by: his wife Sara Lawson; his children, Terrie Higdon (Robert), Rising Fawn, Dewayne Lawson (Kim) and Jeffery Lawson (Rhonda); and his siblings, Dorothy Higdon (Billy) of Higdon, Alabama and Clifford Lawson of Trenton, Georgia. He is also survived by four grandchildren and four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
