She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Franklin and Sybil Frances Howard Rice; and her husband James Harvey Rice. She is survived by: her sons, Charles of Trenton, GA and Martin Rice of Trenton, GA; her grandchildren, Gwendolyn Nation of Apison, TN and Justin Rice; her great grandchild Michael Ward, Jr.; and her sister Mary Shrum of Trenton, GA. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
