He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Rowe and Lorise Davis. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Davis Rowe of Townsend; his children, Heather (Van), Tiffany Rowe of Townsend and Johnny; his daughter-in-law Heather Rowe of Statesboro; his siblings, Wilma (Audley Monroe), Loretta (Ronnie Owens), Sandy (Carl Cherrer), Clay (Rhonda Rowe), Greg (Robin Rowe), Sonny (Debra Rowe), Shane Davis of Crescent and Smitty Davis (Frankie Davis); his grandsons, Payton, Prestyn and Brady; and his friends, Larry Carroll, Erwin King, Sherrod Mells and Austin English. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
