With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Colson of Toomsboro, Georgia, who passed away on August 31, 2020 at the age of 70. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Colson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Otha William Colson and Ivelyn Cooper Colson; his son William Mershon Colson; and his pet Danny. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Colson of Toomsboro; his pets, Oliver and Blacky; and his sisters, Sherry Wilson (Randy), Brenda Allen, Rose Hartley and Jeanette Nelson (Hilton). He is also survived by one aunt and uncle; several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

Townsend Brothers Funeral Home and Staff respectfully ask all in attendance to follow social distancing guidelines.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Salem United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 94, Toomsboro, GA, 31090.
