It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Harry Hicks of Toccoa, Georgia, who passed away on April 10, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Lee Lyles Hicks and Lloyd Hicks; his wife Bettie Louise Burruss Hicks; his sister Mildred Jones (Mickey); and his sister-in-law Ruth Burruss Cooley.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Lori Hicks of Cartersville; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Hicks Benscoter, Billy Benscoter of Cartersville, Wesley and Jamie Hicks of Acworth; his brother John "Nick" Hicks; his sister-in-law Patsy Hicks of Toccoa; his sister Joyce Bell; and his siblings-in-law, Terri Rueblinger, Larry Rueblinger of Clarkesville and Don Jones of Blue Ridge, GA.
