He was predeceased by: his wife Keifer Mae Davis Long. He is survived by: his children, Susan (Tommy Wofford), Carrie (Frank Maturo) and William A. "Andy" Long (Christy) of Saltillo, Mississippi; his grandson Ben Wofford (Samantha) of Raleigh; and his sister Peggy Pelfrey of Toccoa. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
