He was predeceased by: his parents, Hardy Bruce and Mary "Sally" Bruce. He is survived by: his wife L. Gail Bruce; his sons, Cody and Dylan Bruce; his daughter-in-law Courtney Bruce; his grandson Kolten Bruce; and his siblings, Donald (Dawn Bruce), William, Lynn Bruce and Tina (Jason Black). He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
