He was predeceased by: his father Isaac Candler. He is survived by: his wife Frances Clark Cagle; his sons, Stephen and Tommy Cagle; his sister Annie Lou Cagle Kennedy; and his close friends, Lawrence Dunbar, Wilbur and Wilson Cox.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request the memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the charity of one's choice.
