He was predeceased by: his parents, Edern Smith and Mozelle Lawrence Smith; and his brother Bruce Smith. He is survived by: his siblings, Audrey Smith of Toccoa, Allen Smith of Pendleton and Larry Smith of Toccoa; and his nieces and nephews, Tracey Elrod, Dana Smith, Tiffany, Jamie Smith and Michael Smith.
Memorials may be made to the Stephens County Historical Society or to the Currahee Military Museum, 160 N. Alexander Street, Toccoa, Georgia 30577 in memory of Mr. Stanley "Stan" Smith.
