We are sad to announce that on January 31, 2024, at the age of 73, Stanley Joe Rumsey of Toccoa, Georgia, born in Stephens, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Lloyd and Christine Crunkleton Rumsey; the mother of his children Vicki DeFoor Rumsey; and his sister Bridgett Rumsey. He is survived by: his wife Sherri Whitlock Rumsey; his children, Ginger McCreight (Tim), Scott Rumsey (Amy), Allyson Herrington (Stephanie), Bo St. Clair (Sydney) and Molly Sharp (Harrison); his grandsons, Evan Rumsey, Ian Rumsey, Chaz Poole, Ethan McCreight, Rhett Sharp and Lane Sharp; his great grandchild Greer Poole; his cousins, Sam and Ken Rumsey; and his mother-in-law Sue Whitlock.
