She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Asbury Bell and Elizabeth Whiten Bell; her husband Glenn Mitchell Meeks; and her siblings, John Bell, Jay Bell, Ralph Bell, Blanche Whitlock, Eunice Pulliam, Zelma Massey Turk and Bertha Elrod. She was also cherished by her nieces and nephews.
