He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Vill McIntyre Sr. and Lessie Brown McIntyre; his wife Dorothy Mauderie Gosnell McIntyre; and his siblings, Gladys King, Grace Pilgram, Christine Hicks, Frances Chattam, Wayne McIntyre, Authur McIntyre, Jr., Vernon McIntyre and Grady McIntyre.
He is survived by: his sons, David (Kriene McIntyre), Johnny (Vickie McIntyre), Freddy McIntyre of Clarkesville and Doug McIntyre of Toccoa; and his sisters, Dorothy Smith of Toccoa, Doris Churchwell of Toccoa, Mildren Carter of Eastanollee and Anges Marcus of Eastanollee. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
