We are sad to announce that on September 12, 2022, at the age of 88, Roy Gilbert Tripp of Toccoa, Georgia, born in Ann Arbor, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Clarence Samuel Tripp; his brother Richard; his son-in-law Bruce Ringler; his great grandchild Jessica Bates Martin; his former wives, Dolores Scott and Nancy Tripp; and his wife Tishie Johnson Tripp.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela Padilla (Jose Leon), Connie Fisk (Dennis), Joy Ringler (late Bruce), Denise Ringler (Brian), Dawn Rouse (Chuck) and Roy Samuel Tripp; his stepchildren, Donnie Johnson (Linda) and Dale Johnson (Malena); and his siblings, Gerald Tripp (Vicky) and Judy Scott (late Russ). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
Roy's generosity is displayed by his passion to donate his body to the Medical University of Augusta to help others in death as he always did in life.
