With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy Edward Gaines (Toccoa, Georgia), born in Hartwell, Georgia, who passed away on May 17, 2020 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Crayton and Dessie Eugenia Cash Gaines; his wife Evelyn Fowler Gaines; and his siblings, Sam Gaines, Chuck Gaines, Henry Gaines and Martha Gaines Wood.
He is survived by: his daughter Connie Gaines; his grandson Stuart Gaines; his daughter-in-law Kim Gaines; his grandchildren, Crayton and Vanessa Gaines; and his great grandchildren, Owen Gaines, Bella Gaines and Josie Gaines.
