He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Stroud and Gwinell Watkins Stroud; and his siblings, Kenneth Stroud and Joann Ritchie. He is survived by: his son Michael Stroud of Toccoa; his grandchildren, Brandon Stroud and Carly Shirley; his great grandchild Daxxon Shirley; and his sister Charlotte Smith of Toccoa.
