He was predeceased by: his mother Lula Fay Patrick Gloss; and his nephew Thomas Charles Finley. He is survived by: his father Edgar Gloss of Toccoa; his son Roger James Gloss of Nichols, Georgia; his sisters, Sheila Finley of Toccoa, Tammie Jourdanais of Royston, Carrie Lancaster of Toccoa and Millie Herrington of Pelham, Georgia; and his grandson Dylan Gloss.
