He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lamar and Gladys Cooper Thompson; his wife Mary Sue; and his daughter Nanette Thompson Farmer. He is survived by: his daughter Ginger; his son-in-law Mike Jablonski of Wilson, NC; his son Jeff; his daughter-in-law Beverly Thompson of Lavonia, GA; and his grandchildren, Lindsay, Cliff, Marjan, Eric, Jason, Kate and Carol. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
