He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hesting and Lola Duffy Hesting; his sons, Jeffery Hesting and Toby Hestand; and his siblings, Scott Hesting, Jan Wendt and Ro Swanson.

He is survived by: his children, Sabrina Taylor and Randolph Hesting; his grandchildren, Bradley Franchville, Anthony Franchville, Katie Lottering, Taylor Hesting, Wyatt Hesting, Alex Boyles, Danielle Hestand, Brynn DeSaussure, Dyvon Hestand, Payton Taylor and Charlotte Hesting; and his siblings, Joy Bach and Cory Schmidt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
