She is survived by: her daughter Marilyn Smith of Braselton, Georgia; her granddaughters, Kara and Jenna Smith; her brother Truitt Whitmire; and her sisters-in-law, Kathy Whitmire of Thousand Oaks, California, Mary Neil Whitmire Chandley of Lake Wales, Susan Whitmire of Thomaston and Shirley Whitmire of Reno, Nevada. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
