It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggie Smith Thomas of Toccoa, Georgia, born in Canon, Georgia, who passed away on July 25, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennis S. Smith and Maxine McCall Smith; and her brother Larry Smith. She is survived by: her husband Max Thomas; her son Barry; her daughter-in-law Joyce Thomas of Bethlehem, GA; her grandson Bryce Thomas of Bethlehem, GA; her siblings, Jerry of Toccoa, George of Toccoa, Pat Smith of Toccoa and Pat Mauldin Kiger; and her siblings-in-law, Ed of Aiken, SC and Jennifer Smith.
