She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Franklin Riggs and Molly Hester Blankenship Riggs; her former husband William Thomas Black; and her siblings, Maudie Helmandollar, Myrtle Dameron, Hobart Riggs, Buford Riggs, May Riggs, Oakley Riggs, Audrey Koszezepki, Florence Ford, Gladys Dodson, Ethel Jones, Helen Sheets, Robert Riggs and Haskell Riggs.
She is survived by: her husband Billy; her son Richard Black (LaTrissia) of Princeton, WV; her grandchildren, Joy Morris (Patrick), Aaron Black (Sherri) of Princeton, WV, Christopher Shea of Gainesville, GA, Benjamin Jarvis (Dani) of Gainesville, GA and Alina Jarvis of Seneca, SC; and also Dianne Jarvis (Kenneth) of Toccoa, GA.. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, ten great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
