He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Powell, Sr. and Lena Carter Powell; his brother Sammy Powell; and his sister-in-law Connie Powell. He is survived by: his daughter Kim; his son-in-law Mark Randall of Martin; his son Chris; his daughter-in-law Jessi Powell of Toccoa; his grandchildren, Katie Grace Randall, Rilee Powell, Gage Powell, Zoe Jane Powell, Josie Powell and Jayce Jones; his great grandchild Asa Neal; and his siblings, Charlie (Shizu Powell) of Toccoa, Hubert Powell, Jr. (Phyllis) of Toccoa, Joe (Linda Powell) of Toccoa, Jerry (Renita Powell) of Toccoa, Terry Powell of Toccoa and Lorena Wallen of Toccoa. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
