She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Ralph Eugene Sherwood and Ruth Martyn Sherwood; and her daughter Nanette Thompson Farmer. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Robert E. Thompson; her daughter Ginger; her son-in-law Mike Jablonski of Wilson, NC; her son Jeff; her daughter-in-law Beverly Thompson of Lavonia, GA; and her grandchildren, Lindsay, Cliff, Marjan, Eric, Jason, Kate and Carol. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
