She was predeceased by: her parents, John Moffitt and Bertha Blaine Moffitt; and her husband Dan Hitt. She is survived by: her children, Maridan Pittard of Toccoa and David; her daughter-in-law Jean Hitt of Lithia Springs; her brother Max Moffitt of Virginia; her grandsons, Scott Watson and Brian Hitt; and her great grandchildren, Jan and Mary Katherine. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Flowers are to be omitted with donations made to The Clary Center 249 Hospital Drive, Toccoa Georgia 30577 Interment will follow in Stephens Memorial Gardens.
