She was predeceased by: her husband Leon Scott; her daughters, Paula Mardelle Scott and Melissa Lee Scott; her parents, Boyd Thomas and Maudie Lou Irvin Thomas; her siblings, Annie Bell Pate Williams, Sara Frances Garland and Boyd Thomas, Jr.; and her pets, Missy and Britta Scott.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Sandi; her grandchildren, Glenna Nix and Garrett Krous; and her great grandchild DaKai Tristan Nix. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
