It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lea Justice Defoor (Toccoa, Georgia), born in Hiawassee, Georgia, who passed away on August 20, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brothers, Carnes Justice of Toccoa and John Justice of Hobbs; and her former husband Alton Defoor (Pedro) of Calhoun. She is survived by: her daughter Amy Burns of Lavonia; her son-in-law Patrick Burns of Lavonia; her grandchildren, Connor Burns and Ethan Burns; her brothers, Melvin Justice and Floyd Justice; her sisters-in-law, Edna Justice of Toccoa, Marilynn Justice of Hobbs, Nettie Lou of Calhoun, Hazel Defoor of Calhoun and Pat Defoor of Calhoun; and also, Marjorie Murdock of Toccoa, Wanda Sewell of Earl, N. C., Eula Mae, Starr Miller of Eastanollee and Marty Pace of Greer, S. C.. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
