She was predeceased by: her parents, Earley Andrew Elrod and Sarah Bell Honeycutt Elrod; and her husband Donald William Holbrooks. She is survived by: her children, Melinda David of Toccoa, Rebecca Roach of Toccoa, Donna Galliher of Baldwin, Georgia and Donald Wayne Shedd of Toccoa. She is also survived by grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home (90 S Pond St, Toccoa, GA 30577). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location.
