It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Carol Gunter Post of Toccoa, Georgia, born in Elberton, Georgia, who passed away on April 2, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Mitchell Gunter, Sr.; and her brothers, Mitchell Gunter Jr., Morris Gunter and Marvin Gunter. She is survived by: her husband George Joseph Post; her son Jonathan Gunter Post; her sister Cathy Marie Davis (Randall); her sister-in-law Amy Gunter; and her nieces and nephews, Dwight (Ashley), Ivy, Holly, Gillian, Cydney (Andrew), Kinley, Raquel, Zeke, Meredith, Wyatt, Mauricio, Sebastian "Pete", Macy, Miles, Jace, Autumn and Oliver.
Flowers are accepted and contributions may be made in her memory to Bear Creek Baptist Church, 1786 GA-81, Winder, GA 30680.
