He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Childs and Mildred Childs; and his brother Jimmy Childs. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Anne Ray; his children, Matt Childs (Dori) and Cindy (Denver); and his siblings, Joy Ervin (Charles), Quinton Childs and Shirley Jean Pledger.
