He was predeceased by: his wife Pansy Martin; his parents, D. A. Martin and Maybell Martin; and his brothers, Haskell Martin and Frank Martin.
He is survived by: his children, Sheila Martin Patterson (Rex Patterson), Harlan Martin (Shereeta Martin) and Minda Martin Swenson (Chad Swenson); his grandchildren, Chip Patterson (Eleanor Patterson), Meg Patterson Ferdos (Mark Ferdos), Kirby Patterson, Hanna Martin, Lauren Swenson and Davis Swenson; his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Martin and Jessie Martin; and his caregiver Susie Adams. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
