He was predeceased by: his parents, Edern Edward and Mozelle Dela Lawrence Smith; and his brother Bruce Smith. He is survived by: his brother Stanley Smith; his wife Sandra Wright Smith; his children, Tiffany Lee (Pepper) and Jamie Smith (Augusta); and his siblings, Audrey Smith Rogers and Allen Smith (Kimberly) of Pendleton, SC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
