He was predeceased by: his parents, P. J. Sewell and Inez Smith Sewell; and his siblings, Edwin, Raymond, Ralph, Hubert, David, Stewart and Helene.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo; his sister Winona Sewell; his daughters, Rebecca Smith (Johnny), Connie Poole, Anita Golub and Denise Lathan (Doodle); his grandchildren, Lauren, Melvin Chu, Lindsey Smith, Katie Poole, Mary Beth, Dustin Pizango, Josh, Annie Golub, Ryan Golub, Megan, Casey Chambers, Tyler and Jordan Isbell; and his great grandchildren, Norah Chu, Grant Chambers, Ethan Chambers, Cayce Golub and Finley Isbell.
