He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Higgs Williams Snead and Mack Williams of North Carolina; and his sisters, Barbara Hackworth, Betty Scearce and Patsy Willis.
He is survived by: his sister Judy; his brother-in-law Jerry Burke; his brothers, Jimmy (Diann Snead) and Donald Snead (Charles Farr); his niece Melanie Willis; and his caregiver Paul H. Cheek. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home (355 Bear Creek Rd, Lavonia, GA 30553). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
