He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude E. Hardy and Ida Harbert Hardy; his stepmother Mary Garner Price Hardy (Annabelle Berrong Hardy); his son Johnny F. Hardy, Jr.; and his brothers, Burey, Jule Jim and Dorsey Hardy.
He is survived by: his daughter Mariesa Pavliscsak; his son-in-law Andrew John Pavliscsak of Toccoa; his grandson John Thomas Crawford (Tammy Anderson Crawford); his great grandchild John Andrew Crawford; and his sisters, Barbara Hardy Crooks (Jack) and Blondeanor Hardy Ivester.
