He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Patsy Edmonds Segars of Toccoa and Joe Dan Segars; his children, Marie Segars, Chris Bell of Toccoa, Eddie Segars, Amanda Nations of Jefferson and Jacob Segars of Toccoa; his granddaughters, Christina Bell and Dixie Segars; and his brother Ricky "Zag" Segars of Toccoa. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
