He is survived by: his wife Faye Nell Smith; his daughters, Teresa (Daniel Kellar), Buffie Steele of Toccoa and Saprina (Wesley Ayers); his grandchildren, Candi Spencer, Michael Stone, Jesse Steele, Savannah Ayers and Skyler Ayers; his sisters, Geraldine Simpson of Toccoa, Judy Gragg of South Carolina, Hazel Merck of Toccoa, Joyce Bowden of Toccoa, Crystal Rafool of North Carolina and Ann Parker of Bunnel; and his sister-in-law Reba Smith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
