He is survived by: his daughter Henrietta Parks; his grandchildren, Erica Goines (Bobby), Samuel Parks, Jr. and James Parks, Sr.; his great grandchild Rainee Parks; and his siblings-in-law, Hosea Woods, Jr., Louella Richie and Corine Johnson of Henrietta Belle. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren.
