He was predeceased by: his parents, James Jackson and Emma Naomi Cawthon Ellard; his wife Bonnie Sue Altman Ellard; his grandson Ashton Bray; and his sister Brenda Carroll.
He is survived by: his son Brandon; his daughter-in-law Candice Ellard; his stepchildren, Windy Charles, Joey, Michelle Charles and Brittany Cisson; his brother Walter Ellard; and his grandchildren, Dalton Duke, Jada Duke, Rhett Ellard, Zac Clegg, Ashley Adams, Allison Jordan, Susannah Terrell, Lydia Terrell, Delia Charles, Skylar Cisson and Carmen Cisson.
