As James departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved James. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Joanne Sewell Edmondson; his parents, Lewis Edmondson and Inez Edmondson; his daughter Marcia Edmondson Ensley; his grandson Zane Ensley; and his siblings, Jeannette Moody, D. L. Edmondson and Grady Edmondson.
He is survived by: his wife Brownie Sapp Edmondson; and his children, Bridget Murphy (Jerry) of Clermont, Fla. and Dale Edmondson (Veranda) of Duluth. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Screven City Cemetery (300 Odum Screven Rd, Screven, GA 31560).
