He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lester and Gracie Lou Clardy Stowe; his wife Mary Norris Stowe; his children, Kevin, Bernard Stowe and Melody Stowe; his sisters, Martha Lowery and Magdeline Pruitt; and the mother of his children Dianne Sumner.
He is survived by: his daughter Holly Stowe of Toccoa; his grandson Wesley Stowe of Atlanta; his siblings, Dwain Lamar Stowe of Atlanta and Connie; and his brother-in-law Steve Keeling of Martin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
