It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Author Hix of Toccoa, Georgia, born in Stephens, Georgia, who passed away on January 15, 2022, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Wade Hix and Christine McIntyre Hix; and his sister Ophelia Segars. He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Johnson of Dallas, Georgia and Charlie Hix of Toccoa; his grandchildren, Ashley Johnson and Allison Hix; his brother Ernest; and his sister-in-law Maryann Hix of Toccoa.
