With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene Chitwood (Toccoa, Georgia), born in Clayton, Georgia, who passed away on January 13, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Craig Love and Eloise Farmer Love; her husband Steve Roger Chitwood; and her siblings, Barbara L. Brown and Russell Love.
She is survived by: her siblings, Sara Boyd of Toccoa and Edward; her sister-in-law Hazel Love of Gainesville; her stepgrandchildren, Bethany Varnado, Christopher Todd and Aaron Varnado; her siblings-in-law, Bond, Nellie Chitwood and Phyliss Love; and also, Tammy, Foy Todd of McDonough, Beverly and Jerry Varnado of Athens.
