She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelm Reichert and Rosine Hermann Reichert. She is survived by: her children, Jeanette Charles of Toccoa and Joseph Lee Massey, Jr. of Hagerstown, Maryland. She is also survived by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
