He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Josephine Cheek Scott and Hubert Scott; his son Billy Eugene Scott; his brothers, James Scott of Toccoa and Wayne Scott of Toccoa; his half-brother Howell "Scotty"; his wife Linda Scott of Martin, GA; his nieces, Angela Scott and Sheila Scott; and his nephew Jamey Scott. He was also cherished by two great nieces and two great nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
