He is survived by: his wife Terry Allen Biering; his sons, Marcus O. Biering of Stone Mountain, GA and Jeffrey D. Biering of New York City; his brother Henry Elton Biering; and his sisters-in-law, Carol of Charleston, SC and Mary Biering of Johns Island, SC.
