He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Young and Dessie Frady Jameson; his former wife Helen Elizabeth Goolsby Jameson; his wife Ruby Dalrymple Jameson; his son Don Jameson; and his grandson Jacob Jameson.
He is survived by: his son David Jameson of Peachtree Corners, GA; his daughter-in-law Deborah Payne Jameson of Anderson, SC; his grandchildren, Michelle Jameson of Mt. Airy, GA, Buffy Jameson of Anderson, SC, Ginny, Scott Baumgartner of Charlotte, NC, Daniela and Sam McWhorter of San Francisco, CA; his great grandchildren, Alex Baumgartner and Anna Baumgartner; his siblings, Paul (Betty Jameson), Hoyt (Lu Jameson), Stella Ray and Maggie Walters; and his sister-in-law Annette Jameson.
