He is survived by: his parents, James Hines of Albany, Georgia and Susie Simpson; his spouse Maudine Steeple Simpson; his children, Kongaydra Nicely and Willie Gibson; his grandsons, Vashon Gibson, Vonquise Nicely Victor Nicely, Veon Nicely and Tay Jones; his sister-in-law Kistler (Costello Simpson); his sister Cassandra King of Atlanta; his aunt Betsy Simpson of Toccoa; and his uncle Dan Simpson (Philis Simpson). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; brother.
